Register now for Summer Holiday Programs at The RISE!

Get ready for a summer full of fun and creativity at The RISE! We’re excited to bring you two weeks of fantastic holiday programs designed to entertain and inspire children of all ages. Kicking off with our Christmas Special on Wednesday, 18 December, this festive event is separate from our January sessions and will include gingerbread decorating, Christmas crafts, a ceramic tree activity, and a special Christmas movie to end the day. Don’t miss out on this seasonal celebration!

Following the Christmas Special, our January program offers a variety of activities from Monday, 20 January to Friday, 31 January. Each session runs for three hours, allowing kids to dive into activities like Crazy Craft, Multisport, Basketball, Lego & Cinema, Drama, and more! These programs are designed to keep children engaged and active during the holidays, with each session held at different locations within The RISE to cater to a range of interests.

Each session is $30.90 and runs for three hours, giving your child a fantastic mix of fun and learning. Registration IS NOW OPEN via our online portal available on this page or in-person at The RISE reception.

Our School Holiday Programs are designed to be as enriching as they are fun, ensuring your child has an unforgettable holiday experience at The RISE.

Christmas Special – Wednesday, 18 December

    • Location: Creche
    • Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
    • Description: Celebrate the season with gingerbread decorating, Christmas crafts, ceramic tree decorating, Christmas card making, and a festive movie.

Week 1: January Programs

Monday, 20 January – Crazy Craft

    • Location: Creche
    • Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
    • Description: Get creative with unique and exciting craft projects to spark imagination.

Tuesday, 21 January – Multisport

    • Location: Alma Venville Sports Arena
    • Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Description: Enjoy a morning of fun-filled games and physical challenges.

Wednesday, 22 January – Lego & Cinema

    • Location: Creche & Community Hall
    • Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
    • Description: Build Lego creations in challenges and team activities, followed by a movie on the big screen. Optional: bring a pillow.

Thursday, 23 January – Basketball

    • Location: Alma Venville Sports Arena
    • Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
    • Description: Improve basketball skills with drills, games, and technique training.

Friday, 24 January – Drama Workshop

    • Location: Community Hall
    • Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
    • Description: A high-energy workshop exploring acting, stage presence, and creative expression.

Week 2: January Programs

Tuesday, 28 January – Lego Masters

    • Location: Creche
    • Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
    • Description: A day of Lego building with exciting challenges to master different types of builds.

Wednesday, 29 January – Dance Workshop

    • Location: Community Hall
    • Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
    • Description: A fun dance workshop with a mini showcase for parents at the end.

Thursday, 30 January – Carnival Kidz Multisport

    • Location: Alma Venville Sports Arena
    • Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Description: Play traditional team games like capture the flag, tunnel ball, and dodgeball.

Friday, 31 January – Net Sports

    • Location: Alma Venville Sports Arena
    • Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
    • Description: Wrap up the holidays with an afternoon of net sports, including modified games with soccer, netball, and basketball goals.
