Maylands Waterland

Located on the Maylands Peninsula and overlooking the Swan River, Maylands Waterland is the premier outdoor water playground in WA. With beautiful wildflower gardens and lawns surrounding seasonal water features, Maylands Waterland is the perfect setting for a family day out.

PATRONS PLEASE NOTE: Parking around Maylands Waterland is limited. While we are planning to increase availability in the future, please obey local parking signage to avoid incurring an infringement. Public transport to and from Waterland is available on Transperth Bus Route 42.

OPENING HOURS

  1. The water features at Maylands Waterland will run from 9.00am – 5.00pm daily from the start of the September school holidays until the end of the April school holidays.
  2. The first day for Maylands Waterland water features and spray park will be Saturday the 21st of September 2024 until April 2025. Enjoy the park, playground, BBQ’s, toilets and picnic areas all year round.
  3. Maylands Waterland parklands, playground, BBQ’s, toilets and picnic areas are open during daylight hours.
  4. Maylands Waterland water features and spray park are unavailable Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day.
  5. Maylands Waterland is free for all ages!

Hire a space

Maylands Waterland is a great destination for your child’s next birthday party. A dedicated party space is available to hire, complete with kitchenette, benches and barbecues. There are a number of grassed areas and other picnic shelters and barbecues free to use for your next event or gathering. Please remember Maylands Waterland is an alcohol and smoke free facility.

The Kitchenette facilities include the adjoining barbeques and benches and are perfect for birthday parties and group bookings. The area is bookable for the following timeslots:

Bookings can be made for single or multiple timeslots with $80 per timeslot applicable during off-peak and $100 during peak periods.

Timeslots are 10:00am to 12:00noon, 12:30pm to 2:30pm and 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
